John, your wish is my command — you should be able to just click the smilies now. It’s a feature I’ve been meaning to install here for a long time. You just reminded me to do it.

I wish you hadn’t told me about the biting wood 3 times. I’m way too scientific to be truly superstitious, but there’s nothing wrong with “hedging your bets!”

WEll, here in brazil it’s very hard in not to be a superstitious. there’re thousands and thousands of superstitious in my country.
* Don’t break a mirror
* if U say something wrong,and after realized what u said..u can bit 3 times on the wood, and the thing that u said,is not gonna happen.
* Don’t say a same word,in the same time with somebody,if this happening pick up something green, to bring luck to u.

Max: It should be working now. The RSS feed had grown to over 512 Mb, so I had to reduce its size by only allowing 20 episodes to be syndicated. It’s unfortunate, and I will look for a workaround because I know that people like to see ALL of the episodes available for download in their iTunes or other podcasters.

Giorgia: Thanks for your comments! I used to have a black cat too. She was really cool. I thumb my nose at superstitions, just lie you do. But I’d never tell an actor “Good luck” before they went on stage — I’d stick to “break a leg” just for appearance’ sake.

Hi, and thank you for this amazing site! I’m italian, but I assure you that I’m not superstitious..I have a black cat, I open my umbrella where I want and walk under ladders if I have to do it!
But when someone tells me “Good luck!” I always respond… it’s always better to be sure!

Ps: I don’t know if you know this kind of superstition, but when someone tells to you “In the mouth of the wolf!” to wish you good luck, you have to respond “I hope he’ll die!”… ok, a bit cruent…
