Basic English: Introducing people

May 5th, 2007 by Lori

This video from Real English shows people of many different dialects of English answering the question, “What’s your name?” Many of them are asked to spell their names. It is interesting to see the great variation in pronunciation of the responses. The footage is shown twice: once without subtitles, and once with subtitles. Very good video for beginners.
